The homepage mixed four different translucent washes (surface 44-60% plus a
backdrop-filter each), rendered the same four counters twice, and showed a
dangling "Welcome to " eyebrow because the localized string expected the hotel
name. A missing theme wallpaper replaced the whole sky gradient with flat
white, and stale CMS image references produced broken images and 404s.
Replace the ad-hoc panels with one opaque, theme-derived `.panel` token set
(surface, border, shadow, header, radius) and a `.panel-float` variant for the
counter strip that straddles the hero edge. The strip is now the single home
of the four headline counters; a failed read renders "unavailable" instead of
silently dropping a cell. Add the fourth feature card (Games) that already had
translated copy, link recent users to their profiles, and fall back to themed
placeholders for news covers and camera photos without an upload.
Add `pages.home.heroEyebrow` to all 25 locales, layer the CMS wallpaper over
`--site-bg-gradient` instead of replacing it, and keep the sky in dark mode.
Add `publicAssetExists` so local uploads that no longer exist are skipped
(wallpaper, help topics) rather than rendered broken. Fix the `/help` topic
icons to use the `/assets/images/help-center/` base the detail page already
used.
Throttle the spotlight glow to one update per animation frame, drop the dead
`.glass-chip` rules, define the missing `.panel-float`, and fix the stat
divider and reduced-motion selectors. Stat labels use the readable text token
so they clear WCAG AA, and the language button's accessible name now contains
its visible label.

Add background_effect (aurora/particles), background_overlay tint and
opacity to the theme manager, rendered site-wide by ThemeVars on every
public page. Polish the home and register pages (hero mascot, live stat
pulse, date pills, photo strip, CTA band, theme-aware register intro,
i18n for home/register section).
Theme Manager under /admin-next/hotel/theme-manager lets the owner save, apply, rename, delete, import, and export custom themes, plus set a custom site background by URL or upload. Themes are stored in WebsiteSetting/custom_themes JSON so they survive CMS updates.
- Add panel_border_color to THEME_COLOR_KEYS and base palettes
- Register panel-border-color CSS variable
- Fetch and inject panel_border_color in ThemeVars
- Add Panel border field to admin theme page
- Replace hardcoded #e9b124 with var(--panel-border-color) in UserView
Derive admin/public text colors from WCAG contrast, unify ThemeVars CSS emission, and keep navbar overrides in sync with readable vars.

- Add 6 new admin color DB keys (admin_canvas, admin_surface, admin_text,
admin_text_muted, admin_border, admin_sidebar_bg) that override the
derived admin palette
- Extract adminPaletteCss() from themePaletteCss() for reuse
- Generate admin CSS variables in both :root and html.dark with overrides
- Persist admin color settings via saveTheme action
- Add Admin panel (HK) section to /admin/theme with color pickers
Grew /admin/theme from colours-only to a full theme editor, all applied
live via website_settings + ThemeVars:
- Typography: body font (10 web-safe + Google options; Google fonts load
via an injected <link>) and H1/H2/H3 sizes (globals.css now reads
--size-heading-* vars).
- Buttons & links: secondary/danger button colours + link/link-hover.
- Custom CSS: a raw textarea injected after the theme variables (staff-
trusted), for anything the controls don't cover.
- Presets: 6 → 13 (added Galaxy, Royal, Cyberpunk, Neon, Coffee, Arctic,
Christmas). ThemeVars now injects all the new vars + the font link.
Verified live (prod, amx_test): saved font=mono / H1=44px / custom CSS →
the public home reflected --font-family "Courier New", --size-heading-h1
44px and the injected rule; reverted the test settings. tsc 0,
vitest 49/49, next build 0.
Make the template match the atom theme, not just approximate it:
- Add Tailwind v4 (+forms/typography plugins, postcss) and port the real atom
CSS (global.css + atom app.css) into globals.css: nav-item underline, currency
+ navigation icon classes, site-bg, card-base/hover-lift, text utils — asset
paths adapted to /assets.
- Copy the real theme assets (backgrounds, icons/currency/navigation, profile,
leaderboards) into public/assets.
- Rebuild the shell 1:1 from the atom Blade: TopHeader (currency pills +
user/admin dropdowns, auth-only), SiteHeader (header image + black/50 overlay,
logo+online+Nitro client / guest Login+Create-account CTA), Navigation (white
bar, nav-item + Community/Assistance dropdowns), Footer. ThemeVars injects the
DB-driven CSS custom properties into :root like app.blade.php. Layout uses the
atom body/site-bg + grid-cols-12 max-w-7xl content wrapper.
Verified: tsc 0, next build exit 0; curl confirms the atom markup, compiled CSS
references the assets, and background-light.jpg + currency/navigation icons all
serve 200.
